Marketing A Brand That Is You

It is 2012. You have discovered your talents and aptitudes and found the career path that truly satisfies you. BMCC has invited you back as one of their prized alumni. You are addressing a group of marketing students who want to know how they too can accomplish their dreams. You are explaining to them the importance of creating a plan. Please use the principles of the marketing class to demonstrate the marketing plan that you had created for yourself in 2005 that helped you get where you are.

Your self-marketing plan will have seven components. It will also be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.

  • Lay of the Land
  • How Do I Fit?
  • Road Map
  • Reaching Out
  • Lessons Learned

We will have a page for each of these components. All of you will post your self-marketing plan as you complete each of these sections on the corresponding page on this blog. I would also very much appreciate if students can give constructive suggestions to your fellow students on their posts.

The Power Point presentation that you will create will accompany your self-marketing plan and will serve as a multimedia representation of your plan. Under each page you will find instructions/suggestions on how to create your PowerPoint presentation for that section.
